Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 28, 2026

Fort Comfort Services operates fortcomfortservices.com. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit the site or contact us, why we collect it, and how to reach us if you have questions.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form on this site, we collect your name, email, phone number, project location (if provided), and the details of your inquiry. We use this information to respond to you and follow up on your project.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This includes pages viewed, time on site, approximate location (city level, derived from IP address), device type, and referring source. We also capture campaign tracking parameters (UTM tags and Google Ads click IDs) when present, so we can understand which marketing channels are working.

Cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies to track usage. Our form host (Netlify) may set session cookies. We don't use cookies for advertising on this site.

How we use it

We use the information you give us to respond to your inquiry, follow up on quotes, and stay in touch about the work. We use the data we collect automatically to understand which pages people read, where visitors come from, and which marketing channels are doing real work — so we can improve the site over time and spend our marketing budget where it actually helps.

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with anyone outside Fort Comfort Services and the service providers we use to run the site (Google Analytics, Netlify).

Who we share it with

The short list: Google (for Analytics), Netlify (for form submissions and hosting), and the internal team at Fort Comfort Services who follow up on your inquiry. That's it.

We may also share data if we're legally required to — a subpoena, a court order, or a similar legal request.

Your choices

You can opt out of Google Analytics in your browser using Google's official opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

You can request a copy of the data we have on you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@fortcomfortservices.com.

If you live in California, Colorado, or another state with a consumer privacy law (CCPA, CPA, and similar), you have specific rights under those laws — including the right to know what we have, ask for it to be deleted, and opt out of certain types of data sharing. To exercise those rights, email the same address above.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
