What we do
Full-scope drywall work.
Residential and multi-family projects across Colorado. Same scope of work whether you bring us in for one room or a full build-out.
01 — Hang and finish
New work, finished clean.
New construction, additions, basement finishes, and full remodels. We hang the rock, tape and mud the seams, and finish to Level 4 or Level 5 — whichever the room calls for.
02 — Patch and repair
Repairs that disappear into the wall.
Holes from doorknobs, water damage, electrical work, plumbing repairs, settling cracks, and the occasional accident. Patches that match the surrounding texture so you can't see where the repair was.
03 — Texture work
Knockdown, orange peel, smooth, skip trowel.
We match existing textures on a repair or run a full texture across new work. We'll show you samples first.
04 — Whole-home and large projects
Multi-room jobs, basement build-outs, ADUs.
Renovations where drywall is one trade among several. We coordinate with our other divisions when the project needs more than just drywall.

How we work
Four steps. No surprises.
01
Learn about your project
Tell us what you need. We bid from plans when we have them, walk the job when we can, and sometimes quote from photos for small repairs. Either way, we'll walk it together before any work starts.
02
Honest quote
Written estimate with the scope, materials, and timeline laid out. If we think a repair will solve the problem instead of a full replacement, we tell you. If we think you're getting the wrong texture for the room, we tell you that too.
03
Schedule and execute
We give you a start date and a finish date. Our crew shows up when we said they would. Schedule changes get flagged before they affect you, not on the day of.
04
Walk through and close out
Before we leave, we walk the job with you. Anything that doesn't look right gets fixed before we collect the final payment. Then you have our number for anything that comes up later.

FAQ
Common questions about drywall.
How much does drywall work cost in Colorado?
Every job is priced from its scope. A small patch, a single room hung and finished, and a whole-basement build-out are very different numbers. Cost is driven mainly by the size of the repair, the level of finish (Level 4 vs. Level 5), the texture being matched, and whether it is a wall or a ceiling. The most accurate answer is a quick quote, and we reply within one business day.
Do you match existing wall and ceiling texture?
Yes. We match knockdown, orange peel, smooth, and skip-trowel textures so a repair blends into the surrounding wall, and we show you samples before running texture across new work.
What is the difference between a Level 4 and Level 5 drywall finish?
A Level 4 finish is the standard for most walls and is smooth enough for flat or matte paint and most textures. A Level 5 finish adds a thin skim coat over the entire surface and is recommended for smooth walls, glossy paint, or areas with strong side lighting where imperfections would otherwise show.
Do you handle repairs and water damage, or only new construction?
Both. We do new-construction hang-and-finish, remodels and basement build-outs, and everyday repairs, including doorknob holes, settling cracks, and damage from water, plumbing, or electrical work.
Are you licensed and insured, and do you warranty your work?
Yes. Fort Comfort Drywall is licensed, insured, and bonded, and every job is backed by a workmanship warranty. If something is not right, we come back and make it right.
One operator, four trades
While the walls are open.
Drywall rarely travels alone. If your project touches any of these, we can fold it into the same schedule. One company, one point of contact, and no second contractor to chase.
Gutters
Water stains on the drywall usually start at the roofline. We can put the gutters right while we patch.

Every window swap leaves drywall to patch and re-trim. We finish the openings so the wall looks untouched.
Learn moreInsulation
Walls already open? That’s the moment to add insulation, before we hang and finish. One crew, one schedule.
